New Head of Private Clients at Investec
Emily Dawson has been appointed Head of Private Clients at Investec Bank Channel islands, with responsibility across all three Crown Dependencies. Her appointment follows a strategic shake up of the business since new CEO Jane Niles took over from Brendan Stewart in 2023.

Coop reports strong year for pharmacies
After a difficult trading year in 2024, which saw the annual member dividend slashed from 4% to 2%, the Channel Islands Coop has announced strong results for its new pharmacies division. The retailer acquired 11 Lloyds pharmacies last year and the company says performance has been strong.

Regulator reviews Jersey’s telecoms future
The JCRA has launched a public consultation on the Island’s telecoms market. A Draft Decision has been published, and public feedback is invited. Chief Economist Peter Hetherington says the sector is vital to Jersey’s economy. The Review and Consultation are available at www.jcra.je.
